Privacy notice

ReelWorld GO records your IP address, the public page you visit, and the visit time to measure site traffic and help protect the service.

What is recorded

Each visit record includes an IP address supplied by the site’s network provider, page path, timestamp, and a temporary random session code used to avoid counting the same session more than once. Visit times in the owner dashboard are shown in Pacific Time.

Who can see it

IP addresses are visible only in the authenticated, owner-restricted ReelWorld dashboard. They are not shown to other players or linked to your public callsign or fishing profile.

How long it is kept

Visit records are retained for up to 90 days. Expired visit records are removed when the analytics service processes a later visit; if the service is inactive, cleanup waits until it processes another visit.

Optional game updates

You can enter an email and separately check the optional updates box. If you opt in, your email and callsign are available only in the authenticated owner dashboard for ReelWorld updates. You can turn updates off from your in-game Profile; doing so removes the contact record. Leaving the box unchecked does not affect gameplay.

Your choice

You can dismiss the on-screen notice, but dismissing it does not stop analytics collection. To avoid IP-based visit analytics, do not continue using the tracked public pages.
